Trend Owner on Grooms: President's Smile Lifted Me
Mrs. Safaa El-Maghaweery, from Port Said, who became famous for saying "No grooms" in a video clip shown to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Egypt 2026 Forum, expressed feeling embarrassed when she saw the video. However, she confirmed that the president's smile saved her and made her happy. She explained that her speech was spontaneous and that she did not know the video would be watched by the president. She thought it was an ordinary interview with a TV channel, and the footage was recorded by chance during her visit to Ismailia to see her daughter. The video became a trending topic, and she is pleased with the reactions.
