Egyptian achievements from Ahmose to October
The Marsa Matruh Media Department organized a seminar titled "Egypt Through History... Civilization and Victory" in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the glorious October victories. The aim was to connect the heroism of the past with the responsibility of new generations in building the future. The seminar highlighted the features of Egyptian ingenuity across ages, focusing on the experience of Ahmose I in leading the Egyptians to liberate themselves from the Hyksos, and the victory in October 1973, especially the crossing of the Suez Canal and the storming of the Bar Lev Line, which is considered one of the most prominent military scenes in modern history. The speakers emphasized the importance of recalling these milestones to strengthen young people's awareness of the nation's history, to motivate them to uphold the constants of the homeland, and to achieve development through knowledge, work, and responsibility.
