2026 Car Replacement Guide
The 2026 Car Replacement Initiative allows citizens to exchange their old vehicles—those manufactured 20 years ago or more—for new cars powered by natural gas. The goal is to reduce fuel consumption, improve environmental quality, and enhance road safety. The conditions include that the applicant must be Egyptian, between the ages of 21 and 65, and that they have owned the old vehicle for at least two years, with the vehicle's type and registration meeting the specified requirements. The application process is carried out through the official website, where applicants enter their data and upload the necessary documents. Approval is granted after verifying that the conditions are met, with payment options available either in cash or through installments.
