Dollar exceeds 55 pounds stop closing rate in banks

The dollar's exchange rate against the Egyptian pound has increased significantly, surpassing the 55-pound mark. It recorded approximately 55.23 pounds for buying and 55.33 pounds for selling in several banks, including Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, and the National Bank. This follows an increase of about 85 piasters in its price. This rise comes amid a decline in the value of the local currency and reflects instability in the Egyptian financial market.
