2027 Workers' Tech Exam Fees Overview

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announces the guidelines for paying the fees for the vocational transfer examinations for the 2026/2027 academic year. The total fee is 500 Egyptian pounds, of which 200 pounds are allocated for the development of technical education and deposited into a special account at the Central Bank. The remaining amount is subject to rules and regulations regarding disbursement in accordance with a ministerial decision. The targeted groups include students who have completed basic education, students who have passed the first and second years of technical education but have either declined to continue or exhausted their permissible attempts at failure, with permission granted for them to resume studies under the workers' system, provided at least one academic year has passed since their last successful year. The purpose of these guidelines is to organize the payment process and facilitate students' continuation of their studies, with a focus on improving the quality of technical education and linking it to the labor market.
