Al-Azhar Sheikh Condemns Church Attack in Jordan

Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Ahmed Al-Tayeb, condemned the armed attack that took place in Al-Karak Governorate in Jordan, which resulted in casualties and injuries, including deaths. The attack targeted a church during a funeral procession. He expressed full solidarity with Jordan in the face of terrorism and extremism, and offered condolences to the victims' families. He emphasized that targeting innocent people is inconsistent with religious teachings and reflects a lack of human values.
