Alexandria Murder Plot
A woman in Alexandria conspired with her lover and his brother to kill her husband, following financial disputes between him and the two brothers and a secret relationship between the wife and one of them. They lured him to the Bangar al-Sukkar area on the pretext of taking drugs, then increased his dose until he lost consciousness. They beat him with a rock, strangled him, and dumped his body in a drainage canal before selling his vehicle for 38,000 Egyptian pounds. His body was found in June 2024, and his identity and the circumstances of the crime were later established. The Alexandria Criminal Court sentenced the wife and the two brothers to death by hanging.
