The “We Chose for You” night at the second edition of the Fustat Festival brought together four stars of Egyptian pop from the 1990s—Mohamed Fouad, Ehab Tawfik, Hisham Abbas, and Hamid El Shaeri—on the stage at Fustat Hills Park, before a large crowd. The artists performed some of their best-known songs. The concert also featured a duet by Hamid El Shaeri and Rana Samaha, as well as a performance bringing El Shaeri and Hisham Abbas together. Mohamed Fouad closed the evening’s performances, which evoked the spirit of that era.
