Committees issuing national ID cards to Egyptians in Saudi Arabia began work on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Consulate General in Jeddah and the consular mission in Riyadh. The service will continue through November 10. The initiative is being carried out in coordination between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior to make it easier for Egyptians abroad to obtain official documents. Thousands of cards have already been issued in Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Lebanon, and Kuwait. The ministry urged members of the Egyptian community to contact the consular missions to ask about the required documents and book appointments.
