Singapore Backs Two-State Solution
Singapore’s Ambassador to Cairo, Dominic Goh, affirmed his country’s support for United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue and its commitment to a two-state solution and the establishment of a free and independent Palestinian state. He said Singapore rejects wrongful practices, even when they are carried out by its partners, and is one of Asia’s largest donors of humanitarian aid to Gaza, with most of its assistance channelled through Egypt. He added that Singapore is coordinating with Egypt to ensure aid reaches the Strip and has a tangible impact, while stepping up its support ahead of winter.
