Shotless Ashour benched
Al Ahly confirmed that Imam Ashour’s omission from matches—most recently against Arab Contractors—was a tactical decision, not due to injury, and said he had been training regularly. His stats this season show that he has played four matches, totaling 242 minutes, and taken five shots, none on target: four went wide and one was blocked by the defense. Hussein Ammouta left him out for a third consecutive match, after he also missed the games against Kitara and Modern Sport.
