The “Mega Stars” group includes around 18 talented singers aged 58 to 85, united by their love of singing. Most began pursuing their dream after retirement. The group’s founder, Maestro Hossam Samir, said their journey began four years ago with singing sessions and later grew into concerts, including performances in Istanbul where some members sang in Turkish. Friendship, rehearsals, and encouragement from their families and audiences helped build their confidence. Samir added that singing had saved them from boredom and depression, and urged people to hold on to a hobby.
