Sisi boosts Slovenia ties
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar discussed in Cairo on Tuesday ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in education, scientific research, tourism, trade, and investment. They agreed to draw up an action plan with timelines to develop the partnership, support maritime transport, connect Egyptian ports with Slovenia’s Port of Koper, and integrate supply chains. The talks also covered regional and international issues, including the Palestinian question. Both sides stressed the importance of consultation and coordination on these issues.
