US Midterm Voting Begins
Polling stations began receiving voters Tuesday evening for the U.S. midterm congressional elections in East Coast states, including New York, Virginia and New Jersey. The elections cover all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate, as well as the selection of governors in 36 states. They are seen as a test of President Donald Trump’s performance, and a Democratic victory in either or both chambers could hinder the passage of his legislative agenda.
