Iraqi Media Network President Kareem Hamadi said Iraq plays a pivotal role in supporting joint Arab action, and that the network’s participation in Arab League meetings has strengthened its media presence following Iraq’s hosting of the Arab Media Conference. He said the network reflects the country’s democratic, social and economic changes and helps build bridges of communication with the League and the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers. He praised the opening of the “Iraq Annex” in the League’s headquarters, noting that it includes a museum and large halls. He also expressed hope that Iraq would play a greater role in future meetings in cooperation with Arab information ministers.
