Ahmed Shobeir said that Al Ahly had not received an official offer from Saudi club Al Ittihad to sign Emam Ashour, despite talk of discussions and the Saudi club’s willingness to make an offer. He explained that Al Ahly would not object to selling the player if it received a substantial sum commensurate with his value, but considers him an important player and will give him the chance to regain his form. He added that a Turkish offer worth $2 million did not meet the club’s requirements.
