Aqqad’s First Comment
Broadcaster Iman al-Aqqad said she screamed during a broadcast of *Live from Egypt* after a flying insect suddenly appeared, came close to her and struck one of her fingers. She explained that the incident happened last Sunday and that she has a phobia of insects. She stressed that her reaction was spontaneous and that the incident was brief and has not happened again. Maspero management has since arranged for the studio to be sprayed and treated for insects.
