Mohammed Hussein, head of beach soccer at the Libyan Football Federation, said the national team is taking part in an Arab gathering in Port Said Governorate. He noted that efforts are underway to refresh the squad and lower the players’ average age ahead of upcoming continental competitions. He added that the sport is being developed in Libya through training camps, matches and the establishment of a league, which featured 20 teams in its first season and 10 in its second. He urged fans to be patient and support the young national team.
