The area around actor Ahmed El Awady’s car in Ain Shams was crowded and chaotic as large numbers of local residents turned out to welcome him. Some children climbed onto the car’s roof to get a look at him, as filming began on his new series, *Sultan Al-Deeb*. The series is scheduled to air during Ramadan 2027. It marks the fourth collaboration between El Awady and writer Mahmoud Hamdan, and also stars a number of actors, including Rania Youssef and Sawsan Badr.
