Grupos migrantes celebran fallo histórico del Supremo
The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional right to citizenship by birth in a 6-3 decision, rejecting former President Trump's attempt to revoke this right for children of undocumented or temporarily documented migrants born in the country. The ruling affirms that birthright citizenship remains protected under the 14th Amendment, with limited exceptions, and prevents efforts to alter longstanding legal interpretations. This decision countered recent moves by the Trump administration aimed at revoking birthright citizenship as part of broader immigration policies.
