Ukrainian-born oligarch not political
Vadym Iermolaiev, a Ukrainian-born oligarch with a personal fortune of $225 million, was injured in a parcel bomb attack outside his Monaco apartment. The attack, captured on CCTV, involved a suspect who fled toward France after leaving a bag on the steps; his wife was critically hurt. Iermolaiev, known for real estate and alcohol businesses, denies any political connections and is considered a businessman with no ideological stance. The motive remains unclear, with some suggesting personal issues related to alleged involvement in call center scams, and others questioning potential criminal or retaliation motives.
