World Cup possible in US by 2038
FIFA is actively considering hosting the 2038 World Cup in the United States, driven by strong demand for ticketing and hospitality revenue, which has surpassed TV rights in the US market. The organization aims to recoup lost income from US broadcasters and capitalize on the country's high ticket sales and viewership, with interest from American officials and broadcasters such as Fox, ESPN, and Netflix. A potential bid aligns with FIFA’s rotation policies, although confederation reservations exist, and details about the bidding timeline are yet to be determined.
