Brasil mantiene cautela ante nuevos aranceles EEUU
The United States has imposed a 25% tariff on shipments from Brazil entering its territory as part of the Trump administration's latest trade measures. Brazil responded cautiously, with officials indicating plans to activate reciprocal tariffs if necessary, though no immediate retaliations have been taken. The Brazilian government is currently assessing the impact on exports, which are expected to be affected by about 15-18%, but some key exports like coffee, beef, oil, and aircraft are exempt. The situation remains uncertain amid potential additional tariffs related to allegations of forced labor, and Brazil continues to seek alternative markets while providing support to affected sectors.
