Cowboys lose linebacker to injury
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a setback as outside linebacker Marist Liufau fractured his left forearm during a preseason game and will undergo surgery, potentially missing several weeks. The injury, which is not considered season-ending, impacts the team's roster plans and special teams contributions, as Liufau had been expected to play an expanded role after a strong offseason. The team is now faced with adjusting its roster while Liufau recovers and considers placing him on injured reserve with a return designation.
