NFL cuts: Chiefs release three receivers from last Super Bowl team
Three wide receivers from the Kansas City Chiefs’ last Super Bowl-winning team—Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Mecole Hardman—were released by their respective teams during roster cuts ahead of the new NFL season. Despite their recent contributions to the championship run, they are now free agents, illustrating the league’s rapid turnover and short average player careers. These experienced players may still find opportunities, as injuries and roster changes later in the season could make them valuable additions for other NFL teams.
