Former Cowboys player eyed as Shedeur Sanders replacement
The Cleveland Browns are considering adding quarterback Joe Milton III after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys, due to their crowded QB room and injuries. If the Browns claim Milton, they may need to trade or waive players like Shedeur Sanders or Taylen Green, with Sanders being a likely candidate to be traded. Sanders, the team's 2025 fifth-round pick and former starter, remains the backup but could compete for the starting role if Deshaun Watson underperforms. The team's roster decisions are influenced by injuries and season developments, with potential impacts on future trades.
