Joe Lycett is launching a new live TV show, "Live from the Lycett Arms," set in a working pub in east London where he will host and operate the establishment. The program involves celebrities managing shifts, quiz nights, and a lively atmosphere designed for spontaneity and fun. Lycett faces challenges in obtaining his alcohol license, having failed the required exam, but insists the show will proceed with a stand-in licensee if necessary. The series aims to combine comedy and chaos in a real pub environment, marking Lycett's return to stand-up and potentially establishing the pub as a permanent venue.
