Pro-Palestine protests halt match as Ireland draws Austria
Pro-Palestine protests interrupted a football match in Dublin as tennis balls with Palestinian flags and a political hashtag were thrown onto the pitch, and a man carrying a Palestinian flag ran onto the field before being tackled by security. The incident occurred during a Nations League game between Ireland and Austria, which ended in a 2-2 draw after Austria made a second-half comeback. The protests highlight recent tensions related to Ireland's matches involving Israel.
