Aviation Security Concerns After Flydubai Incident
A flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a co-pilot attacked the injured pilot and attempted to hijack the plane. Passengers and off-duty pilots managed to overpower the attacker, allowing the aircraft to land safely. Regional authorities suggest the co-pilot had links to radical groups, and Israeli officials believe he was motivated by Islamist extremism, raising concerns about aviation security and screening processes.
