Larry Johnson worries about CTE after NFL hits
Larry Johnson, a former Kansas City Chiefs running back, fears he may be experiencing long-term effects from NFL hits, exhibiting memory issues and cognitive disturbances that could be linked to CTE. Despite not having a confirmed diagnosis, Johnson reports symptoms such as forgetfulness and disorientation, which he attributes to his extensive playing career characterized by heavy workloads and repeated head impacts. His concerns highlight ongoing challenges in diagnosing CTE during life, as current tests can only confirm the disease post-mortem.
