WNBA's "EPIC" Extension and Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark’s strong performance in her rookie WNBA season has made her eligible for a significant contract extension, known as an EPIC extension, in 2027. The Indiana Fever aim to build around her before her contract expires, but her upcoming pay raise may limit their salary cap flexibility. Clark earned All-WNBA First Team honors as a rookie, enabling her to negotiate a maximum salary for the 2027 season.
