Trump y Putin acuerdan liberar diésel
President Trump announced an agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin for Russia to supply over 300,000 tonnes of diesel immediately, with additional shipments expected soon, to help lower global fuel prices. The deal involves easing US sanctions on Russian diesel, which had been in place since April 2022. The announcement has faced condemnation from Ukraine, which views it as enabling Russia's war efforts, coinciding with ongoing peace talks in Florida. The move comes amid rising diesel prices in the US, driven by conflicts and sanctions affecting supply, and ahead of US midterm elections.
