Rams cut kicker Harrison Mevis
The Los Angeles Rams released kicker Harrison Mevis after a costly overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills, citing poor performance and special teams mistakes. Mevis missed a field goal and had a potential game-winner blocked, prompting head coach Sean McVay to evaluate changes. The team has brought in Blake Grupe from the Jets' practice squad, aiming to improve their struggling kicking unit.
