Trump’s new press secretary passes bar in China
White House press secretary Katie Zacharia has faced scrutiny over claims she is a licensed lawyer, as no public records confirm active licensing in any U.S. state. Although she holds a law degree from Pepperdine University, her own responses and investigations reveal she has not been admitted to practice law in the U.S. or licensed in California, where she claims to have practiced international transaction law. Transparency questions have been raised, with watchdog organizations urging investigations into whether she misrepresented her credentials.
