Potential successor for White House press secretary
The White House has again lost its press secretary after Katie Zacharia was fired just five days into her role as Donald Trump’s spokesperson. Her departure follows the previous resignation of Karoline Leavitt, prompting a new internal contest to fill the prominent position. Several potential candidates include White House communications director Steven Cheung, deputy press secretary Anna Kelly, and others with varying degrees of political experience.
