Haaland secures victory for City
Manchester City extended their winning streak to seven matches under manager Enzo Maresca, who became the first Premier League manager to secure victory in his first seven games. Despite being under pressure due to their recent financial rule breach, City dominated possession against Ipswich but faced strong defensive resistance. Key moments included goals from Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, and Zian Flemming, with Haaland reaching 100 non-penalty goals in the Premier League fastest in history. The match also saw several injuries, including to Haaland and Semenyo, as City maintained their perfect start amidst ongoing off-field issues.
