A global online poll has been launched to determine the greatest soccer player of all time, focusing on players who have won at least two Ballon d'Or awards. Cristiano Ronaldo currently leads with 62% of the votes, primarily for his 2008 season, while Lionel Messi has 13% for his 2012 year and 9% for 2023. The vote, open to the public with a fee per vote, will close on October 26, ahead of an awards ceremony in London. This contest highlights ongoing debates about the sport's greatest legends amid both players' pursuit of 1,000 career goals.
