Sandra Hüller on her film stardom
Sandra Hüller, a highly acclaimed German actress, is featured in the film "Fatherland," where she portrays Erika Mann navigating postwar divided Germany. The film explores Germany’s Nazi past and the socialist dreams of East Germany, a place she remembers from childhood. Hüller, who also stars in other prominent films this year including Hollywood productions, discusses the emotional depth of her roles, her political engagement, and her potential involvement in a Marvel film. Despite her international success, she remains modest about her status, emphasizing her sense of belonging to a collective, and reflects on historical and contemporary political issues, including the rise of far-right movements.
