Williams rejects cleat ban
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was fined $23,882 for wearing Caddix cleats with a visible logo against the New England Patriots, doubling the penalty he received for wearing them against Atlanta in Week 6. NFL rules require players to conceal logos from non-partner footwear brands, but Williams says the cleats help his comfort and health and has indicated he will keep wearing them.
