Mahomes warns Chiefs fans
After starting 5-0, the Kansas City Chiefs lost consecutive games, falling 20-3 to Seattle and 28-24 to Denver to drop to 5-2. Patrick Mahomes said the team made too many mistakes to beat good opponents; Kansas City had led Denver by 11 in the fourth quarter before being outscored 15-0. Mahomes threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns, and recorded his 49th game with at least three touchdown passes in his first 10 NFL seasons, surpassing Peyton Manning and Dan Marino.
