Babylon halts official hours tomorrow
The Babil Governorate Council has decided to suspend official work tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, due to the large number of visitors participating in the Arbaeen Hussaini pilgrimage, with exempted departments that are part of the pilgrimage plan. This decision is made to facilitate the organization and reverse flow of returning visitors from the various axes of the province, in order to reduce congestion and make it easier for the pilgrims during this significant religious event.
