Al-‘Amal plans anti-bullying campaign
The Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is expected to undertake a national campaign to combat bullying and discrimination against people with disabilities, aiming to promote their inclusion in society and improve the services provided to them. The ministry has discussed with UNICEF expanding community programs and updating legislation, including reactivating rehabilitation programs and developing an electronic system to facilitate access to rights for people with disabilities. The campaign's goal is to reduce stigma and ensure justice and efficiency in the provision of services for individuals with disabilities in Iraq.
