Iran approves draft to secure Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian Parliament has approved the principles of a draft to secure the Strait of Hormuz and to ban the passage of equipment from hostile countries, including America, Israel, and other hostile nations. The draft includes a detailed study of various provisions and is currently being referred to the National Security and Construction Committees for review. Iran affirms its full control over the strait, despite U.S. claims of control and its assertion that the strait is entirely closed.
