Baghdad to Get Direct Flights from Germany Starting December 10
German company Euro Wex has announced that it will operate four direct flights per week between Iraq and Germany, starting from December 10th. The flights will include two weekly departures from Berlin and two from Dusseldorf to Baghdad, aiming to strengthen direct air connectivity between the two countries and facilitate the movement of over half a million Iraqis residing in Germany. Additionally, this move aims to support social and economic ties. This step comes in response to the increasing number of travelers between Iraq and Germany, especially for family visits and business. It complements the existing flight routes that connect Erbil to several German cities, taking advantage of the current gap in direct flights between Baghdad and other European cities.
