Integrity uncovers properties linked to Salah al-Din manager's family
The Integrity Commission reveals that it is investigating the former Accounts Department Manager in Salah al-Din Province, who was detained on charges of illegally organizing the disbursement of funds and real estate assets. The investigations uncovered the seizure of seven properties registered in the name of his wife and relatives, as well as the seizure of three property files and four bonds registered to members of his family. The Commission also announced in July the seizure of amounts totaling up to 2.5 billion Iraqi dinars from the suspect’s residences, alongside his detention on charges of organizing and embezzling funds through fake promissory notes worth 425 million Iraqi dinars. The case involves widespread financial corruption, and investigations are ongoing to gather all related evidence and files.
