Jordan Manufacturing exports 2500+ products worldwide
The President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Eng. Fathi Jghabeer, confirmed that the Jordanian industrial sector has successfully diversified its range of products and increased their competitiveness, leading to an expansion into export markets. Currently, more than 2,500 Jordanian industrial products are exported to 150 countries around the world, through over 18,000 facilities that provide approximately 271,000 direct jobs. The production capacity of the Jordanian industry is estimated at around 18 billion Jordanian dinars annually, contributing about 24% to the gross domestic product (GDP). When including indirect effects, its contribution rises to 42%, reflecting the sector’s crucial role in supporting economic growth and strengthening the trade balance.
