Samirat: Economic Modernization Fosters Digital Growth
In line with Jordan's move towards digital transformation, the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Samirate, announced that the country has achieved a significant leap in updating government services over the past four years. The digitalization rate has increased to 85.5% of the targeted services, with ongoing efforts to reach 100% by the end of the year. These efforts included building an integrated digital government system that emphasizes efficiency, speed, and easier access for citizens, along with promoting the adoption of digital solutions such as digital ID and digital signatures. Additionally, comprehensive government service centers have been established in 15 governorates, offering more than 229 services to over 120,000 citizens monthly, with a satisfaction rate of 98%. The next phase will focus on expanding the use of artificial intelligence and automation to ensure the delivery of more efficient and higher-quality services, in line with the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision.
