Satellites record damage at King Faisal Base
Recent satellite images revealed damage at several locations within King Faisal Air Base in Jordan, following the Iranian missile attack targeted during the recent conflict. The images showed a fire in one of the aircraft hangars and thick smoke rising, with damage reported at three scattered sites, including a newly constructed facility, confirming physical destruction inside the base. However, the images and independent sources did not substantiate claims of an ammunition depot belonging to U.S. forces being destroyed, and there remains unverified information regarding the targets and nature of the affected facilities. Iran announced that its attack was part of Operation "Nasser 2," stating that an F-15 hangar was hit and eight drones destroyed. Meanwhile, the Jordanian army confirmed intercepting four Iranian missiles and reported that two missiles fell in uninhabited areas without causing damage, while denying any damage to facilities within the kingdom.
