The National Center for Security and Crisis Management in Jordan today began conducting tests on the national emergency alert system for mobile phones, aimed at evaluating its readiness to send warnings within the kingdom about crises, disasters, and emergency events. The tests will cover most provinces and will continue until August 2nd. They will include sending mock messages in both Arabic and English, containing alerts about dust storms, along with auditory notifications to ensure users' attention. This step is part of an effort to strengthen the system's ability to communicate effectively during emergencies and to reduce potential risks to citizens.
