The Public Security Directorate in Amman confirmed that ongoing security efforts and awareness campaigns have led to a reduction in negative practices associated with celebrations, such as firing guns into the air, running in convoys, and displaying objects from vehicles. These behaviors previously endangered traffic safety and caused human and material losses. They explained that the continuation of some incidents necessitates the continued implementation of awareness campaigns and strict enforcement of the law, as these practices are illegal and pose risks to lives and property. Moreover, they hinder traffic movement and increase dangers to public safety. The authorities urged citizens to report violations through the emergency number 911 and relevant communication apps to ensure community protection and individual safety.
